The ENERGATE project has developed an ICT-enabled marketplace designed to streamline communication and investment in Energy Efficiency (EE) building renovation projects by connecting Building Owners, Implementors (such as ESCOs, engineers, architects, and installers), and Sustainable Finance actors. Through a four-stage workflow, User Registration, Data Collection (Fetch), Aggregation and Matchmaking (Process), and Feedback and Validation (Deliver), the platform enables standardised project reporting, intelligent matchmaking, aggregation of projects into financeable packages, and multicriteria-based alignment with investors. By providing reliable, structured, and aggregated data on both implemented and upcoming projects, ENERGATE enhances transparency, supports sustainable financing, and facilitates the development and monitoring of EE investment portfolios, validated through five European pilot partners representing both supply and demand sides of the market.
