On March 13, 2024, the Sustainable City Network successfully conducted its 8th General Assembly at the Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel, bringing together key municipal and governmental representatives. This session served as a vital platform to discuss various initiatives, particularly highlighting the successful ongoing and completed European projects, including the ENERGATE project.
The presentation of the ENERGATE project provided information on its objectives and current achievements, while various use cases were presented, with a particular focus on the public sector. These use cases illustrated how the ENERGATE platform could be used within municipal operations to promote greater efficiency and sustainability.
The session concluded with plans to evaluate the platform from the perspective of municipal officials and technical services when it is ready for testing and wider use. The meeting marked a commitment to renewed cooperation among municipalities-members, with a focus on sustainable development and enhanced project maturation processes.
