We are pleased to announce that ENERGATE participated in the REHVA Brussels Summit on the 13-14 November 2023. The summit is a significant gathering of industry experts, policymakers, and professionals, set to discuss the latest in sustainable buildings, with a theme centered on "Indoor Environmental Quality, Digitalization, and Skills in the Decarbonization of Buildings."

Day 1 Highlights:

The summit commenced with the REHVA Standing Committee Meeting, focusing on REHVA's internal activities. This session offered a platform for members to shape the organisation's future strategies.

The ENERGATE Expert Talk was strategically designed to address key aspects of ENERGATE standardisation in the context of financing energy efficiency, with additional insights into EU taxonomy and HVAC as a service.

Day 2 Highlights:

The second day spotlighted the annual Policy Conference. With the adoption of key directives like the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), the Renewable Energy Directive (RED), and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) in 2023, the focus was on implementing these policies at the EU level.

Emphasis was also on promoting upskilling and reskilling opportunities, especially in the European Year of Skills 2023. The EU Green Deal Industrial Plan, introduced in February 2023, prioritises enhancing skills across all levels.

The day wrapped up with a session by MODERATE, where building professionals and EPB experts engaged in a workshop.
