The ENERGATE project organised its 2nd Regional Training Workshop in Riga on May 29, 2024, focusing on financing solutions for energy efficiency in public buildings. The event, hosted by the Riga Planning Region brought together public and private sector stakeholders.
Key discussions highlighted the reliance on government and EU funding for energy efficiency projects in Latvia, with limited public-private partnerships due to regulatory challenges. The ENERGATE platform was praised for its potential to connect municipalities with investors and provide crucial information on financing options.
