On 6th of April, Riga Planning Region met with Riga City Council City Development Department to exchange information and identify synergies among on-going energy efficiency and climate change projects, initiatives, expected outputs and results on regional and city level.

The meeting gathered 11 participants in total: from Riga City Council Development Department 7 participants – specialists involved in energy efficiency and climate change projects and 4 from Riga Planning Region, project managers and Spatial Planning experts.

During the Workshop ENERGATE project was presented, highlighting the objectives and outcomes of energy efficiency investment platform and its intention to foster energy efficiency renovation processes that will be achieved through pooling financial instruments and linking building owners and energy service companies.
